The Honeypot
A trap channel that catches spam bots the moment they arrive, before they can flood your community. If a button in Discord sent you here, that channel is one of them.
How it works
A trap channel is set
The server picks (or lets Natsumi create) a channel that real members are told never to post in. A pinned warning makes that impossible to miss, and if Community Onboarding is enabled, the channel is shown to every new member from their first second.
Spam bots walk right in
Compromised accounts and raid bots do not read warnings. They join and blast their links into every channel they can see, including the trap. Humans scroll past it; bots cannot resist an open channel.
The trap springs instantly
The moment anything posts in the trap, Natsumi soft-bans it: a ban that deletes the account's last 7 days of messages server-wide, followed by an immediate unban. The spam disappears from every channel at once, not just the trap.
The network shares the catch
Servers can opt into the Honeypot Network. When a bot is caught in one network server, it is also kicked from every other network server it is in, so one trap protects the whole network.
Posted there by accident?
The removal is a soft-ban, not a permanent one: you are unbanned immediately and can rejoin with any invite link. Server admins, managers, and any roles the server marked as exempt are never actioned at all. Network removals are plain kicks, so a false positive never loses messages in other servers.

Honeypot setup takes under a minute from the dashboard or with the /honeypot command.
